The members of the Board of Trustees will be responsible for providing oversight to ensure the effective governance of the Foundation. This will include but not exclusive of the following:

1. Commitment to support the fundraising activities of the Foundation
2. Provide suggestions to raise support for the vision of the Foundation
3. Advocate for the cause of the Foundation
4. Being visible ambassadors sharing the story and mission of the Foundation
5. Ensure accountability
6. Provide input for one or more areas of Board governance: policy, programs, finance personnel and advocacy
7. Support of special events
8. Participate in the Annual General Meeting of the Foundation.
