NEWSLETTER – DECEMBER 2025

Dear Friend,

Welcome to a new month, a month of hope, joy, and giving.
A month where God reminds us that even in hard places, miracles still find the doorsteps of those who need them most.

And today, on Giving Tuesday, the world pauses to give, to lift others, and to bring healing where life has caused deep wounds. It is the perfect moment to share a story that reveals the POWER OF ONE.

A GIVING TUESDAY STORY: The Light in the Milk Tin

On a quiet December night, nine-year-old Mercy sat outside a tiny one-room home with her mother, Mama Ruth, an amputee single mother. With no electricity and only a small candle inside an empty milk tin, Mercy whispered, “Mummy, what will we eat for Christmas?”

Mama Ruth smiled through hidden tears. Since her amputation, her husband had abandoned them, leaving her without a job, a prosthetic limb, or a stable income. Christmas felt far out of reach.

But that same night, across town, donors read a story about struggling amputee women like Mama Ruth. Something stirred in their heart, and they gave a Giving Tuesday donation.

That gift became a Christmas grocery pack wrapped with hope and dignity.

On Christmas morning, Mama Ruth opened her door to bags of FOOD STUFFS and a small pack of sweets for Mercy, along with a note that read:

“You are not forgotten. You are loved.”

Mercy screamed with joy. Mama Ruth wept with relief.
One act of giving transformed their Christmas.

Why This Story Matters Especially Today

Because right now, on this Giving Tuesday, many Mama Ruths and Mercys are still waiting:

  • Amputee widows struggling to feed their children
  • Women abandoned after losing a limb
  • Amputee children hoping for a meal this Christmas
  • Women waiting for prosthetic limbs
  • Young girls who are praying for school fees
  • Families sitting in darkness, not just physical darkness, but the darkness of fear and uncertainty

Your Giving Tuesday gift can change that.
